The toxic effects of lead infographic

Lead in Your Water?

You do not want lead in your drinking water!

The negative health effects are well known. Any amount of lead in water over 0.015 mg/l needs to be treated.

While most sources of lead have been phased out of home construction, it can still be an issue in older homes – where some lead plumbing and lead-based solder may still be present – and in communities where lead may remain in distribution systems.

Is there lead in my drinking water?

Since it’s impossible to taste or see lead in drinking water, you can only tell if your water is contaminated by expert independent testing. (It’s best NOT to rely on tests from firms that also offer treatment systems.)

If an independent test confirms that you water contains lead, we will be happy to analyze the results and recommend a treatment solution for you.

In the meantime, we would recommend a Reverse Osmosis system. It can remove virtually all lead from your drinking water. (Along with other contaminants that may be present,)
